The 2010 Tasmanian drift champion, team HTS hotshot Andrew Considine has confirmed entry into the Tectaloy Drift Challenge. The once Burnie local who now calls the Gold Coast home will be entering his crazy Toyota 1JZ powered S14 Zenki Silvia.
This guy has been known to bring the crowd to their feet on many an occasion and will be putting in a big effort on the lead up to the event to make sure absolutely everything is set on maximum to suit the big sweeping Eastern Creek circuit after finishing on the podium at every round of the Tasmanian state drift series and clenching the 2010 title.

The HTS team are certainly under no illusions that they will have as smoother run as they have had in Tasmania though with many of the top guys from around Australia and New Zealand all converging on the Sydney based circuit in a winner tales all showdown under lights. The guys at Southside Performance have been busy finding more power from the ever reliable Toyota six cylinder motor.
“ Consie certainly has the skills to mix it with the best in the business, so now we just have to make sure we keep our end of the deal and the car has enough power to deliver on the night as we are pretty sure some of these Kiwi cars have a stack of horsepower” said Andrew Fenton from Southside Performance in Ulverstone Tasmania.
As well as being supported by Southside performance and Dyno, Andrew is also supported by online retailer Racecarparts.com.au and Tasmanian local Moonah Auto Parts Recyclers. Now the good part about this is that the MD of Moonah Auto Parts Recyclers is none other than the legendary Adrian “Mozza” Morrisby who just happens to be one of the commentators for the Tectaloy Drift Challenge so we can almost hear the big guy already when this car goes into battle “Now I’m getting excited ladies and gentlemen!”
Hey Mozza, so are we mate!
