One of the most controversial cars of 2012 WTAC was the Clubsprint Class winner Queensland based restauranteur Nev Scott and his insane WRX who, in 2013, steps up to Open Class and makes clear his intentions of doing a “Kalis” and winning the Open Class the year after winning Clubsprint.
Despite all of the controversy surrounding this car there was absolutely no denying that it was insanely fast and for 2013 it appears by all accounts “we ain’t seen nothing yet”.
“We are returning in 2013 with one clear goal in mind. To win. Simple as that.” said Nev “We haven’t made the step up from Clubsprint to Open just to make up numbers. Last year we were very focused on our goal and as the record books show we achieved it. Our time from last year was even hard to believe at first for us but we know from the data there was still a lot more left in the car last year.”
“2013 has been a tougher year for our team with lots more development going into the car and finding some weak points that we have now overcome so I am very confident we will be at the pointy end come Saturday afternoon.”
“The car will be receiving a healthy dose of power for WTAC and also some more go-fast bits still to be added and weight still to shed that will give us a very strong package. We plan on turning it right up! Bring it on!”
