Clubsprint Class- Gorilla Industries Supra

Our next tuner entry is the Gorilla Industries Toyota Supra JZ80A RZ. Gorilla Industries is a new kid on the block when it comes to time attack racing but their beautifully prepared Supra will be sure to turn some heads in August at the Creek. The 2JZ engine is renowned for making copious amounts of horsepower and this one is no exception with a Garrett GT 35R turbocharger and Trust waste gate strapped to the side and a host of Greddy and HKS tuning parts throughout the engine bay. The suspension is some top line Cusco Zero 2E coil overs and a set of 6 piston Greddy brakes with Project Mu pads ensure that the whole package stops as good as it goes. The wheels are Rays for the Street and some Enkei RPF-1 rims for the track with 10 ½ inch monsters on the rear. The tyres are likely to be either Advan Neova ADO8s or Federal RSRs as Gorilla Industries have been testing with both.

This will be Gorilla Industries first competitive event and head honcho Shane Standley will be strapped into the Recaro racing seat in August to put the Supra through its paces. The team has been actively involved in track days though and to date have recorded a respectable time of 1.07 seconds around Wakefield Park with the promise of more to come.
