About MSFEST

Msfest commenced in 2006 as a part of the 50th anniversary commemoration of the MS Society in Australia. It was the brainchild of organisers Clint Pease and Stacy File who envisioned it as a laid back, easy going method of raising awareness to a previously unattainable demographic of youth and young adults, not to mention, a great excuse to bring a music festival of international standards to Launceston.

Giving credence to the saying, “Grand events begin with good ideas”, Msfest 2006 was a truly grand success, packing out Royal Park, (our original home), hosting Australia’s best music and introducing for the first time, the “Ministry of Sound Dance Arena” and raising much needed funds and awareness for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Msfest quickly became known as an event not to be missed.

Msfest has moved into its 6th year and has raised well over $500,000+ for The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Tasmania. To see more go to www.msfest.com
