The Clubsprint class at World Time Attack 2011 will see many familiar faces return to battle it out in a street car shootout like no other. This class really embodies the spirit of grass roots Time Attack with the entrants limited to using true road tyres with a tread wear rating of 120 or more eliminating the semi slick tyres used in the Open and Pro Classes and the other major restriction is that the vehicle MUST be driven by the registered owner the vehicle eliminating any professional hired guns.
Despite these restrictions this class still attracts some wild machinery with many entrants returning for the second or third year in a row. With the 2010 Clubsprint champion Nik Kalis moving up to open class for 2011, last year’s second place getter and 2009 NSW Super sprint champion Duncan Forrest will certainly be one guy that will be hard to beat in his well sorted R35 GTR as will Marek Tomaszewski in the second R35 GTR.
Just because this is limited to the owner doing the driving this certainly does not stop the whole Australian tuning scene jumping on board with a whole plethora of workshop backed cars.
Sydney based Time Attack aficionados Pulse Racing will be supporting the John Vader Evo 9 giving them an entry in every class and Jacky Yick will be very hard to beat in his extremely well sorted S15 Silvia built by Sydney based race engineer Joshua Cho and his team at Pro Concept. Also Ovidiu Zaberca has been on fire of late and is the third of the Yokohama Advan/Hi Octane Racing backed cars in his Evo 9 giving the Advan/Hi Octane Racing team a showing in every single class .

From Sydney’s Northern beaches A and B Motorsports have entered a two car team with Frank Hung and Mark Lovett running a pair of Skylines. Shane Standley is also set to make a big debut in the Gorilla Industries backed Supra and adding to the diverse field will be Bao Mai in an old school Starion with backing from Bursons Autoparts.Bilstein racing have once again entered the SS Ute of Jarred Sutton and Tunehouse have entered the high powered late model WRX STI of Fytos George,
In his local state of South Australia, Tristan Catford has won everything bar the chook raffle and he will be keen to see how he goes on a National level in the SKR entered Evo 9. Canberra based tuning house Ultimate Tunes have a two car team consisting of an R32 GTR and an Evo X and Clinton Pease will be coming up from the Apple Isle in the ex- Mark Rayner MS Fest backed Evo 9.
Add to this a wide range of vehicles from a super fast Lotus Exige S to an AMG C63 you are sure of a revfest against the clock like no other at the Creek in August!

wishing TC Racing Team all the very best at World Time Attack 2011.
Tristan Catford at such a young age has produced many accomplishments in his racing career, a true professional in his own right.
