I think this car will have no problem breaking into the 53 second barrier in Tsukuba that is for sure. But apart from horsepower and aero, I think the driver plays an important role as well. Sure Under Suzuki is no doubt a great driver and knows his car really well, but what if a pro racing driver such as NOB Tanuguchi or Tarzan Yamada were to drive the Scorch S15? I think they can really extract that extra 5-10% more from the car than what it can already do, couple this with more improvements to the car and breaking into the 52 second barrier would even be possible to achieve.

Awesome that the UK is going to be represented. You have to appreciate the dedication to ship a car like this across the world!
I’m sure that if Romain in his FWD Rotrex CRX gets a sponsor he’ll be game to ship the car here and woop some 4WD and RWD butts like he did last year in the UK Club Pro Class !

Great Article. Love the NSX Video’s. Wow that Nemo-Racing looks like it is insane. Prototype levels of downforce in a OEM car incredible stuff. I cant wait to see that car go through turn 1 at the creek. August cant come quickly enough.

Awesome article, I can’t wait to see the end result of the work he is doing all over the globe this year, and I am on the edge of my seat frothing for 2012 WTAC.

Lets see more from his insane convert/fwd Eclipse! That beast has been in the making for a long time, and come A LONG way. Insane street FWD times.

Great article indeed. Hope to see how the Nemo Racing Evo will look like come WTAC. I think Andrew has a great future no doubt, I would really like to see him in F1 really and maybe give people like Adrian Newey a run for his money. =P

you guys have certainly produced the bench mark, having been there to witness the 2011 event was enough for me. considering i stayed there from the time the gates opened until the finish of the event said it all !. and that being some 13 hours worth. i’ve only got one concern with the up coming event and that is the possible change to the night time drifting by lighting up the top of the track more to suit the photographers. honestly i think you would be taking away from the atmosphere too much. you had the right mix last time. non stop drifting continuously circulating around, plenty of flames, noise, smoke and chaos ! what more could you want to finish the night. don’t change that too much, that was bloody epic !!!!
also wondering if we will be seeing a ” chrome bumper” old school series put into the mix of time attack machines.
