News New Session, New Leader

New session, new lap leader. Skipping the first session, Garage Revolution certainly made a strong impression with their first outing in the second session. A few solid laps around Eastern Creek later the leader board shows a new first place. With Mitsuhiro Kinoshita behind the wheel, the Rx-7 managed a 1:30.6160, nudging in front of the Cyber Evo team with Tarzan Yamada unable to better his lap time.

With barely two-tenths between them there seems to be a battle between first and second place.

With almost 2 seconds between them and the rest of the field, there seems to be a fierce fight over 3rd.

In sixth place is the brand new and outrageous MCA Suspensions S13. Times like 1:33.9720.

The Mercury Motorsport GT-R also made an appearance, this time with hired gun Tarzan Yamada at the controls. The team stopped the clock at 1:34.3370.

They were just cut short by 3-tenths by Scorch Racing, who were out on the track after an emergency gearbox replacement last night. Under Suzuki ran a 1:34.3080 on the fresh out of the box sequential gearbox.

Representing New Zealand, the RevoultionNZ car is another 3-tenths behind the The Mercury Motorsport GT-R with a 1.32:8240

The Hankook Carbon WRX also made an appearance but was a little off the pace with a 1:35.1340.

Sierra Sierra still stuck in the pits receiving an emergency diff replacement. Hopefully the car should be ready to run again by the next session at 2:10PM .
