We chatted to Dean Evans and Warren Luff who are sharing the driving duties for the Carbon WRX. Evans says the car was not stressed on the 1:35 lap this morning, and the car was treated very gently.
Apparently the car is very soild and they plan on really winding it up for this afternoons session. Warren Luff reckons they can easily shave 3 seconds off their time and achieve 1:32. This would put them in the same range as Panspeed, Tilton and Mark Berry.
We are about to head out to photograph the last Pro Class Session and the Drift. We will post updates in the afternoon after those two classes
