We can now confirm Russian Pro rally driver and part time model Inessa Tushkanova will be flying into Sydney in October to guest drive several cars in both the Open and Pro Classes.
Inessa has been competing professionally on the European Rally circuit for several years and most recently in the Finnish rally Championship in an Evo 9 with a view to a WRC drive in the coming years as she rapidly moves up the ranks.
Born in the Ukraine in 1987 Inessa grew up driving on ice so she learnt at a very young age the skills required to win rallies and has since gone on to compete not only in the forests of Europe but has also tried her hand at Time Attack racing in Europe which is where she came to our notice.
Most recently she managed to drive Misha Charoudin’s 700+ hp WRX into number one position for an pro class win at the Zandvoort round of the Dutch Time Attack series so you can rest assured she is no slouch behind the wheel!
So I guess you have worked out by now that Inessa takes her racing very seriously and is super quick but what else can we tell you about her?
Well how about the fact that she was Miss Ukraine 2012! Did that get your attention? Or what about the fact that she has posed for Playboy magazines that have been featured across Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine.
So what will Inessa be driving in Australia? Well she will have a seat in at least four different cars for at least one session and two of these car are also driven by two of Australia best rally drivers.
Firstly she will share the drive of the Pulse Racing Evo 9 with rally legend Steve Glenney in the Pro Class. Secondly you will see her with another Australian rally legend Rick Bates in the V-Ssport Evo X. Next up you can see her sharing a drive in the Topstage Composites S14 with former Australian Karting and Sports Sedan champion James Sera and finally she will be accompanying the BPG Racing father and son team of Craig and Adam Burgess in their crazy fast GTR.
So what does Inessa think about coming to Australia and competing at WTAC?
“I cannot wait to come to Australia. I have never been there before and the cars there look crazy. I will do my best to get the fastest time possible and really look forward to meeting the fans down there”
