Josh Boettcher confirmed for Tectaloy International Drift Challenge

The reigning Stadium Drift Pro Tour champion, Josh Boettcher has confirmed entry into the Tectaloy International drift challenge. Boettcher has been an absolute standout in this series and he now joins Rob Whyte as part of the Nismo/Motul drift team.

He is now campaigning an ex- Drift Australia S15 Silvia powered by a HKS 2.2 litre SR20 engine and with highly experienced Nissan engineer Gavin Wood providing the setup is proving to be an absolute force to be reckoned with and is dead keen to show the foreign invaders that this is going to be a fight right to the end.

After coming runner up in the 2009 Stadium Drift championship to Leighton Fine by a mere one point, Josh has been on a mission ever since and has gone from strength to strength and took the title in 2010 and has started the season in 2011 by leading the point score, and dominating the opposition once again.

The Nismo/Motul drift team is now one of the most professional operations in this country, and is backed by auto parts wholesaler Link International who are the Australian distributors for the Motul and Nismo brands. “We have had enormous success with Rob Whyte in the Nismo/Motul drift team over the past few years, and by bringing Josh on board we now have a two car team of what we believe are two of the very best drifters in the country in two of the best cars” said Link International CEO Chika Sakane.
