Don’t be fooled by the business name because while Drift Garage do build and maintain many drift cars they certainly also have the sights set clearly on time attack racing. This particular car was in fact built purposely for 2010 Superlap and they are now putting all of their efforts into World Time Attack 2011.
The car is currently running a T67 equipped SR20 engine with 350rwhp and by the time WTAC comes around in August the car should be sporting the new forged engine with closer to 500rwhp, which in a car that weighs a spritely 1050kg will make for a seriously fast ride. The car features a striking GT front bar with splitter and canards and a carbon rear diffuser and some 17 X 9.5 inch Advan rims with sticky Dunlop rubber. Once again Drift Garage managing director, Luis Poblete will be pulling on the helmet and putting the Silvia through its paces.
