First session out for the Pro Class and Sierra Sierra pulls no punches with a blinding 1:29.0240, smashing the 2010 Cyber Evo record by over a second. Satisfied with the time, they went straight back into the pits.
It took them two more laps but Tarzan Yamada and Cyber Evo closed the gap with a 1:29.7510 lap, which would have been an incredibly impressive time, had SSE not just lapped the track 7-tenths faster.
Competition is getting hot, and the track is really quick this morning with a cool dry 17°C and clear skies above. Looks like we have a great day of Time Attack ahead of us.
