A quick sneak peak at the Vibrant Performance / PZtuning Motorsports Civic as it arrives at the track ahead of World Time Attack Challenge this week!
It’s been a big year for William Au-Yeung and the team from Canada as they have been setting lap records in North America throughout the North American time attack season. Holding 4 outright records at 4 seperate track, there still remains one event Will would like to win before 2018 is through – World Time Attack Challenge.
William took an impressive Pro Am 2nd place in his 2017 World Time Attack Challenge debut, out classing many impressive competitors in the process. Will 2018 be the year the Vibrant Performance / PZ Tuning team take the top spot?
New for 2018 the team have fitted a improved pedal setup and paddle shift system – a geartronics setup with a direct air actuator for the Quaife sequential gearbox.
Also on the list of improvements was some subtly revised aero, which is certainly doing the job if the team’s results back in North America are anything to go by!
Under the hood is a brand new engine package filled with Vibrant Performance goodies as well as a brand new EFR turbo.
“We owe a lot of our improvement this season to our experience at WTAC 2017.” said William “We were very impressed by the level of competition in Australia and coming back our” motivation level is higher than ever!
One thing is for certain, these guys are not here to muck about. It will be interesting to see how the changes and improvements Will and the Vibrant Performance / PZ Tuning team have implemented over the last year will affect their lap time around Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend.
