Everyone is welcome to register as a volunteer race official for our events and you do not need to be a member of the club. There is on the job training and support by very experienced officials.

BECOME PART OF THE ACTION!

Our Officials are a part of a team who volunteer their time to contribute to the success of this amazing event. You do not need any experience to be a volunteer at our event, however there are some basic requirements:
- be able to get yourself to and from the event
- be available all day (or evening)
- Trackside Officials need to be at least 16 years of age

As a volunteer at the event, we will provide you with:
- free entry to the event
- free breakfast, lunch and/or dinner (depending on the day)
- as much bottled water as you need, and
- an Event shirt.  

 

The majority of new officials will be allocated to a position as a flag marshal as this is the best (and easiest) position to introduce you to an event of this size, and you can be teamed up with an experienced official. This is also the very best position to see all the action up close.

 

There are many positions for Officials at our event which include:
- Flag Marshals
- Pit Lane Marshalls
- Recovery / Fire / Rescue team
- Scrutineers
- Administration
- Timing
- Race Control

 

What days/times do we need Volunteers for? (times are approximate) 

 

Wednesday
- Administration and Scrutineers (afternoon and/or evening)

 

Thursday
- WTAC Event Officials (7:30am – 5:30pm)
- Drift Event Officials (5:00 pm – 10:00 pm)

 

Friday
- WTAC Event Officials (7:30am – 5:30pm)
- Drift Event Officials (5:00 pm – 10:00pm)

Saturday
- WTAC Event Officials (7:30am – 7:30pm) (includes Dinner)
- Drift Event Officials (5:00pm – 10:00pm)
