WTAC 2024: 30TH - 31ST AUGUST
MEDIA ACCREDITATION
WTAC 2024 MEDIA ACCREDITATION NOW OPEN!
WTAC Media Accreditation will only be issued to professional working journalists and creators from recognised media outlets. The application process is for a single accreditation only. All applicants should have a valid Motorsport Australia media accreditation – to apply for this, see https://motorsport.org.au/media/accreditation
The use of drone or RPA (remote piloted aircraft) devices is strictly banned, apart from use by WTAC Official Media and our official broadcast partners.
Media will need to apply for one of four categories of Media Pass. Please read and select your pass type before completing the form.
These categories are as follows:
-
Press Photographer / Videographer – (Media employed and shooting to produce an article in a major print or online publication)
-
Press Journalist – (Journalists not requiring any trackside access)
If you do not fit into these categories, don’t worry! There is a good chance you will not need accreditation for your purposes. Sydney Motorsport Park is a quite photo-friendly venue and there are plenty of GA-accessible vantage points around the venue.
If you are applying for sponsor or competitor media coverage, please apply directly through the competitor or exhibitor channels and these will be considered on a case-by-case basis as these restricted media areas are intended for official media outlets only.
Please note, any unauthorised media in accredited areas will have their ticket cancelled and will be immediately ejected from the event. Without exception, only media with approved accreditation and correct media vests will be allowed into trackside areas. You will be issued a specific WTAC media vest with number after the morning media briefing and this must worn at all times during the event and especially in accredited areas. Vests are to be returned to the media room at the end of the event or a $50 AUD penalty will be issued.
Please wait for a confirmation email to be sent with your media pass. Approved media will receive communication from WTAC with their media passes and accreditation details.
