One of Japan's most iconic names in automotive culture is making its highly anticipated return to the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge 2026, and they're bringing something truly special. After last year's amazing performance in the four-rotor S15, they are back to be another guaranteed highlight of the WTAC 2026 event!
Join us in welcoming Liberty Walk back to Sydney Motorsport Park on 4-5 September 2026, with company founder Wataru Kato returning to Australia alongside legendary professional drifter Tetsuya Hibino and their all-new drift missile - the Liberty Walk Silhouette R35 GT-R.
Freshly finished in an all-new livery inspired by Brian O'Conner's iconic Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) from 2 Fast 2 Furious, the Silhouette R35 GT-R blends Liberty Walk's unmistakable styling with one of the most recognisable liveries in automotive culture.
This year we'll be seeing and hearing the 1,000HP four-rotor LBWK R35 GT-R performing drift demonstrations with Tetsuya Hibino as the pilot. Originally a 2022 Formula Drift Japan Championship car, it has since evolved into a purpose-built demonstration machine which will deliver an unmistakable soundtrack guaranteed to echo across Sydney Motorsport Park as it vaporises its Yokohama tyres into oblivion!
You can see this car up close and personal at the Yokohama Tyre Australia X Liberty Walk booth next to the WTAC stage, as well as allocated performance sessions both days and during the Mayhem After Dark event on Saturday night!
Founder Wataru Kato will once again be in attendance throughout the weekend, meeting fans, spending time with the Australian Liberty Walk community, and celebrating one of the world's most passionate automotive events.
Known for redefining vehicle customisation and inspiring enthusiasts across the globe, Kato's return further strengthens the relationship between WTAC and Japan's vibrant tuning scene.

Designed exclusively for the event and available in limited quantities, the range will once again be available ONLY at WTAC.
