Mayhem After Dark 2026: 'Yeah The' Drift Stars Announced!

When the sun goes down on the Saturday of the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge, the chaos is only getting started. A fresh roster for the ever-popular Yeah The Boys and Yeah The Girls crews will form the backbone of Mayhem After Dark in 2026, bringing together some of the biggest personalities and wildest machines in Australian and international drifting. From four-rotors, V10s and high-horsepower JZs to drift wagons, a Ford Transit, a Lamborghini and even a Nissan Patrol, these crews represent everything M.A.D. is built around: noise, smoke, spectacle and cars that refuse to follow the rules.
This is only the foundation of what is still to come. The Yeah The Boys and Yeah The Girls stars will deliver demonstration runs throughout Mayhem After Dark, with selected cars also appearing on track during the daytime WTAC program, giving fans even more opportunities to see, hear and experience these incredible machines across the event.

Meet the 2026 'Yeah The Boys' Crew
Michael Rosenblat — Viper V10 Nissan R35 GT-R
The Hardtuned R35 is powered by an eight-litre Dodge Viper V10 with twin turbochargers and approximately 1,200hp. With a PPG sequential gearbox, Winters quick-change differential and Liberty Walk bodywork, it delivers maximum-impact engineering from every angle.
Mike Lake — "SLAMBO" Lamborghini Diablo Kit Car
Mike Lake returns with one of the most unmistakable creations in Australian drifting: a Lamborghini Diablo kit-car body built over BMW E36 underpinnings. Powered by a 500hp turbocharged 13B rotary and dogbox, the purple machine delivers supercar theatre with a distinctly unconventional soundtrack.
Luke Fink — Nissan Patrol
Australian drifting personality Luke Fink is set to bring his Nissan Patrol into the M.A.D. arena. A Patrol in Fink’s hands should provide spectacle in abundance. Based on a 370Z chassis, this wild SUV-turned-drift-beast is a fan-favourites and with Fink's all-out driving style on display, will surely be another to keep an eye out for.
Jay Duca — Holden LX Torana
Jay Duca and the Low Standards team will unleash a Holden LX Torana unlike anything its designers imagined. The classic body now sits over a heavily reworked chassis and is powered by a turbocharged Mercedes OM606 diesel engine.
Robbie Nishida (USA/Japan) — Holden VL Commodore
Low Standards’ second entry is a yellow VL Commodore powered by a naturally aspirated PPRE four-rotor engine. With rotary noise, old-school Holden styling and drift veteran Robbie Nishida at the wheel, it should be impossible to overlook.
Mitch Pullen — Drift Hilux
Off the back of a stunning run at Goodwood Festival of Speed, fabricator and driver Mitch Pullen joins the Yeah The Boys field with his crowd-favourite V8-powered drift Hilux. Known for combining big power with uncompromising commitment, Pullen’s ute is made for the controlled chaos of M.A.D.
Brodie Maher — Nissan S13 Silvia
Brodie Maher’s Drift League S13 is built around an SR23VET producing a claimed 1,000whp. Maher built the billet-block engine himself, pairing it with a Holinger six-speed sequential, Winters quick-change differential, MoTeC electronics and MCA suspension.
Jason Ferron — 1,000HP Ford Territory - Photos TBA!
Professional drifter and self-described “Vibe King” Jason Ferron (Keep It Reet) arrives with one of the field’s most outrageous concepts: a Ford Territory producing approximately 1,000hp. The combination of family-SUV proportions, enormous power and Ferron behind the wheel makes it an immediate crowd favourite.
Jarrad Klingberg — Toyota KE70 Corolla Wagon
Veteran drifter and builder Jarrad Klingberg brings 18 years of experience and a wonderfully unlikely weapon: a mid-engined, 2JZ-powered KE70 Corolla wagon. The compact Toyota produces around 600hp and features a PPG dogbox, four-link rear conversion and Klingberg Motorsport steering package.
Peter Kay — 1932 Ford Drift Rod
Peter Kay takes control of the late Levi Clarke’s unforgettable 1932 Ford Drift Rod. Built around a custom chassis and fibreglass body, the open-wheel creation is powered by a dry-sumped, E85-fed LS3 and carries a story that extends far beyond its 600hp output.
Mathew Herne — Nissan S13 Silvia
Representing Everyday Engineering and Car Make Revive, Mathew Herne’s vividly coloured S13 features a radically mid-mounted 1JZ, with most of the engine positioned behind the front crossmember. The 540hp build combines serious fabrication with a tribute livery honouring Mathew’s late friend, Levi Clarke.
Trent Read — Toyota 86
Trent Read’s TJDRIFT Toyota 86 combines a built four-litre Barra with a Turbosmart 6870 turbo, nitrous and up to 900hp. With an aggressive chassis setup, near-perfect weight distribution and plenty of smoke on tap, it promises to be one of the field’s hardest-charging modern builds.
Terry Ingham — Nissan S15 Silvia
Western Australia’s Terry Ingham brings Team Tyre BBQ’s red S15, powered by an 800hp turbocharged RB30 and equipped with a TR6060 gearbox, GTR driveline and Wisefab steering. In Terry’s words, it “likes to party”—which makes it an ideal fit for M.A.D.
Andrew Young — Nissan R33 Skyline
Known as “Ghee Up,” Andrew Young’s R33 Skyline is one of the field’s biggest-power machines. Its billet-block 2.8-litre RB26, 88mm turbo and direct-port nitrous system are claimed to produce a staggering 1,630hp.
Callum Matthews — Nissan R35 GT-R
Callum Matthews brings a thoroughly re-engineered R35 GT-R powered by a 1,000hp, three-litre 2JZ. Built with an HGT sequential gearbox, Ford 8.8 rear end, Wisefab suspension and Haltech management, it is believed to be Australia’s only 2JZ-swapped R35 drift car.
Glen Atkins — Nissan R35 GT-R - Photos TBA!
Glen Atkins’ R35 GT-R pairs a Liberty Walk silhouette body with a turbocharged 26B four-rotor engine producing a claimed 1,200hp. It is one of the field’s most ambitious builds, although the car remained under construction when its entry was submitted.
Malcolm Lonsdale — Nissan S15 Silvia
Malcolm Lonsdale’s S15 keeps the familiar Silvia shape but replaces the original drivetrain with an 800hp turbocharged LS1. A TTi sequential gearbox, Ford 8.8 independent rear end, rear-mounted radiator and full cage complete the package.
Mike Jones — Ford Transit
A Ford Transit probably isn’t the first vehicle that comes to mind for a drift showcase, but Mike Jones’ van is no ordinary workhorse. Underneath sits a naturally aspirated 427ci LS producing approximately 720hp, backed by a Magnum gearbox and independent rear suspension.
Meet the 2026 'Yeah The Girls' Crew
Mercury Lien — Nissan 350Z
Driver and content creator Mercury Lien brings personality in equal measure with her holographic pink 350Z. The naturally aspirated six-litre LS-powered Nissan features heart-shaped details throughout, reflecting Mercury’s determination to make motorsport welcoming, accessible and memorable for new fans.
Momo Yuura (Japan) — Nissan HCR32 Skyline
Japan’s Momo Yuura joins the field with a Rocket Bunny 'Hot Wheels'-liveried HCR32 Skyline. Powered by a 3.1-litre turbocharged 2JZ producing approximately 750hp and fitted with an HGT dog-engagement transmission, it brings a strong slice of Japanese drift culture to Sydney.
Denver Christensen — Nissan S13 Silvia
Denver Christensen’s pink S13 has been extensively reworked, with almost nothing beyond the steering rack left standard. Its turbocharged SR20 produces approximately 400hp in a proven package that has already appeared at WTAC.
Catherine “Driftcat” Coleiro — Holden VK Commodore
Recognised as Australia’s first female drifter, Catherine Coleiro returns with her unmistakable yellow VK Commodore. A naturally aspirated NASCAR-derived R5P7 V8, nitrous and G-Force transmission give the Driftcat machine around 700hp and a soundtrack to match.
Arisa Mizuhara (Japan) — Vehicle and Photos TBA!
Japanese rally and drift driver Arisa Mizuhara joins the Yeah The Girls line-up, bringing experience across multiple disciplines and a strong connection to Japanese automotive culture. Her vehicle and full technical details will be announced closer to the event.
Niamh Dillon (NZ/Japan) — Nissan 300ZX
International-level competitor Niamh Dillon will make her WTAC debut in a purpose-built Nissan 300ZX. The one-of-a-kind Pro-spec machine combines an LS3, nitrous, Samsonas transmission, extensive tube-frame work and Haltech management for an estimated 700hp.
Kahli Bell — Nissan S14 Silvia
Kahli Bell returns in the blue S14 built specifically for WTAC. Its Nitto-built RB25 produces approximately 450hp through a Turbosmart turbo, with Link ECU management, Shockworks suspension and GKTech components completing the package.
Riki-lee Lipschinski — Nissan 180SX
Qualified mechanic Riki-lee Lipschinski brings a carefully developed 180SX powered by a forged SR20DET. Rather than chasing a headline power number, the 362hp build prioritises response, grip and reliability—and represents a journey that helped Riki-lee transform both her health and her life.
Kim Thorley (NZ) — Nissan Laurel
New Zealand’s Kim “Drift Mama” Thorley arrives with international competition experience and a bright-pink Nissan Laurel. Powered by a 500hp turbocharged RB25, the car will make its WTAC debut. We don't have any photos of the new exciting Laurel in the build, but if the R34 Kim brought along last year is any indicator of quality, we'll be in for a stunning build debut this year!
Jessica Schembri — Toyota MX83 Cressida
Southern Highlands driver Jessica Schembri returns in one of Australian drifting’s most distinctive engineering packages. Her MX83 Cressida uses a turbocharged Toyota 1MZ V6—originally a front-wheel-drive Camry engine—backed by a dog-engagement Hilux gearbox and wrapped in a sparkling Sakura Creative livery.
Bridget Burt — Rocket Bunny Nissan 180SX
Bridget Burt is set to appear with an LS2 turbo-powered 180SX being rebuilt in collaboration with Evangelion Racing and Rocket Bunny. The purple, 650rwhp machine will feature bespoke bodywork, a full livery and custom forged wheels, although it was still under construction when entered - we look forward to the debut of both Bridget and this car in the YTG category this year!
