Lock it in, this is your invite to the newest, hottest automotive party in town. Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge 2026 is throwing down the ultimate weekend send-off with a brand-new, adrenaline-fueled Saturday night closing ceremony: Mayhem After Dark!
After the craziness of the Superlap Shootouts are over, the party has only just begun. When the clock strikes 8:00 PM on Saturday 5th of September, WTAC drops into absolute overdrive. Until the gates shut, Turn 18 aka 'Drift Hill' becomes a high-octane stage built for pure entertainment. There are no judges, no scoring, and absolutely no competitive pressure: this is an all-out, tyre-shredding exhibition of pure horsepower put on purely to blow the crowd away. The rulebook is thrown out and the drivers are letting loose with one simple mission: go hard, then go home!
On-track, every single segment delivers massive impact. Stepping up to put on an unforgettable show are the world-class international stars of the EXEDY International Cup alongside a savage lineup of popular local drift builds, all pushing their machines to the absolute limit for the fans. Sharing the spotlight is the highly anticipated return of the crowd-favorite 'Yeah the Boys' and 'Yeah the Girls' drift teams, ready to put on a spectacular door-to-door display.
We are also taking the hype to a whole new level by bringing the internet’s most viral automotive icons out from behind your screens and into the real world. The wildest, most unconventional oddball creations that have blown up your feeds will be live in the metal, running at full noise and full smoke for a true sensory overload. The spectacle continues with a rally car heroes demonstration showcasing raw tarmac agility, and we've also secured some brutal burnout cars executing insane, smoke-billowing "powerskid drifting" displays. With special guest cars, star drivers, surprise international demos, and even more madness yet to be announced, the grandstands will be shaking from start to finish.
