For the first time ever, the world's most famous tyre-shredding Mazda FC RX-7 is leaving American soil. We are thrilled to announce that global automotive icon Hertrech “Hert” Eugene Jr. and his legendary Twerkstallion are officially heading Down Under for the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge 2026!

Hert will be smoking tyres in full-noise drift demonstrations on both Friday and Saturday at Sydney Motorsport Park. Even bigger news for night owls: he is locked in as our very first headline star for the brand-new "Mayhem After Dark" Saturday track party. Hert joins the Team USA contingent at WTAC 2026, thanks to our partners Garrett Advancing Motion.

Who Hert You?

Long before he was a global automotive culture icon, Hert was the ultimate heartbeat of internet car culture. As a founding member, content manager, and one of the OG hosts at Hoonigan, he spent over a decade transforming the way the world consumed automotive media.

Hert’s infectious energy, raw "kill all tyres" philosophy, and unapologetic love for grassroots drifting helped propel the brand to over a billion views. He didn't just document the culture, he actively steered it, building a fanatical global following by proving that you don't need a corporate budget to build a legendary car and have an absolute blast doing it.

Built for the Night

The Twerkstallion has undergone an absolute evolution to get to this point, mutating from a grassroots build into a literal masterpiece of modern drift engineering. It represents the exact chaotic, high-energy vibe we wanted to anchor our first-ever M.A.D. track celebration.

Contrary to Hert's well-documented love of rotary power, at heart of the beast is a massive V8, a 408ci Gromm Racing LS engine (thats 6.7 litres for our metric readers) paired with a monstrous Garrett Motion G40-1150 turbocharger, breathing through a Texas Speed billet intake and a custom Vibrant Performance oval exhaust. Underneath, it relies on a Tick Performance T56 transmission, BC Racing ER Spec coilovers, and a heavy-angle Part Shop Max suspension setup to keep it sideways at terrifying speeds.

Controlled entirely by a Haltech Rebel ECU, PDM16, and a UC10 digital dash, the car is a masterclass in elite packaging wrapped in an iconic BN Sports Type 2 body kit, a massive Big Country Labs 1850 carbon wing, and custom Factory 83 designed livery.

Nappy Boy Auto Comes to Sydney

Beyond the smoke and rev limiters, Hert brings massive star power to WTAC. As the co-founder and president of Nappy Boy Automotive alongside two-time Grammy winner, and sixteen-time Grammy nominated, hip-hop legend T-Pain, Hert has spent the last few years completely redefining inclusivity and style within modern car culture.

Fans looking to freshen up their wardrobe will have an exclusive opportunity at the event. Hert will be on-ground all weekend selling official Hertlife merchandise and we've heard he's got some exclusive Aussie-only exclusives that you will only find at WTAC!

Seeing Hert and the Twerkstallion live in Sydney is a true bucket-list experience for WTAC fans. This is your exclusive chance to witness an internet-breaking car that defined a generation of car culture scream past the SMSP grandstands in the metal at full-noise. Between the tyre-shredding demos, the chance to grab exclusive Hertlife gear in person, and the absolute energy he’ll bring to our Mayhem After Dark party, Hert is set to deliver an unforgettable weekend. Don't miss out! History like this only happens once.
