The 2025 Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge is gearing up to deliver one of the most intense and diverse motorsport weekends ever seen in Australia. With the fastest time attack cars on the planet ready to do battle, this year introduces two thrilling new classes alongside fan favorites, expanding the competition and showcasing innovation at every level.
New to the event are the MoTeC Pro Open and Yokohama-Advan NEOVA Tuner classes, bringing fresh competition and pushing engineering boundaries. Alongside these, the beloved Haltech Clubsprint, GCG Open, Plazmaman Pro Am, and EMTRON Pro classes return, ensuring fierce battles across every category.
This year also marks the world-first, world-exclusive debut of the Hypercar Class. Featuring iconic machines like the Pagani Zonda R, Pagani Huayra R, Ferrari FXX, and Brabham BT62, driven by some of the industry’s top professional racers, this class promises a spectacle of power, precision, and cutting-edge technology unlike anything time attack has seen before.
Beyond the track, adrenaline flows with the Garrett International Drift Challenge showcasing sideways action from the best drifters. The Turbosmart Flying 500 head-to-heads deliver raw, high-speed duels. Car culture enthusiasts can dive into the Shannons Stylized Show ’n’ Shine Presented by Donut Garage, featuring a curated lineup of tuner builds, drift cars, classic JDMs, and race-tuned monsters. Meanwhile, the Supercheap Auto Project Car Paddock gives fans exclusive access to some of the wildest builds still under construction.
As if that’s not enough, the sky will roar with excitement as Matt Hall takes to the air in his iconic Red Bull Air Race plane, adding a spectacular aerial show to this motorsport festival.
