For the first time ever, the 2025 Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge will feature the Hypercar Challenge, an exclusive competition showcasing the capabilities of the world’s most advanced track-only hypercars.

This groundbreaking event brings together four exceptional machines: the Pagani Zonda R, Pagani Huayra R, Brabham BT62, and Ferrari FXX. Each hypercar represents cutting-edge engineering, designed specifically for high-downforce, high-speed circuit performance without compromise.

The Pagani Zonda R and Huayra R boast lightweight carbon fiber chassis and naturally aspirated V12 engines delivering over 740 horsepower, optimized for precision and aerodynamic efficiency. The Brabham BT62 combines a mid-mounted V8 engine producing around 700 horsepower with advanced aerodynamic elements that generate significant downforce, maximizing grip in corners. The Ferrari FXX features hybrid powertrain technology, blending a V12 combustion engine with electric motors to deliver instantaneous torque and enhanced acceleration.

Behind the wheel, seasoned Supercars drivers Tim Slade, Fraser Ross, and James Golding will pilot these machines, applying their expertise to extract peak performance and push the limits of these hypercars in a pure time attack format.

The Hypercar Challenge will test the interplay of power, aerodynamics, and driver skill on the demanding Sydney Motorsport Park circuit, where tenths of a second determine supremacy.

This event represents a technical milestone in time attack racing, providing a platform for evaluating the latest hypercar innovations under intense competitive conditions.

The 2025 WTAC Hypercar Challenge is not only a showcase of raw speed but also a proving ground for next-generation track technology and driver precision. To be a part of the action, get your tickets at OUR WEBSITE [CLICK HERE] or tune into the Bosch Motorsport Australia WTAC Livestream.
